Silenced is a South Korean drama film based on a novel " Crucible " which was written based on true incidents. In this film they portrayed how the students treated in a hearing impaired school . Kang In ho is a newly appointed teacher to Benovance Academy which is for hearing impaired children which is situated in a fictional town named Mujin. He met a human rights activist Seo Yoo - jin during the first day journey to his new school.

He lost his daughter one year ago & his daughter also sick. So he was pretty excited to meet new students. But he noticed the students in his class were pretty depressed & he also noticed a boy who came to his class with bruises. Then he learned that that student Gim Yeon Do lost his brother few days ago. But he's pretty confused by the unusual behaviour of his students. Then the director of the school asked him to pay 500000 won for his job as a school fund. In order to keep his job he payed it to him.

In few days he gradually started to discover so many dark truths and secrets about this school. One day ge also found a hostel incharger torturing a girl named Jin Yu . Then he helped her & admitted her to the hospital. Then he also asked help of the human right activist See Yoo - jin to help her. Then he & the human rights activist learned that one of the teacher, head master & the director were abusing the students of the school both physically & sexually. He also learned the abuses happed to Min Su & Gim Yeon Do from them.

Then he & the human right activist started to fight for the rights of the poor children in court. Min Su, Jin Yu & Gim Yeon Don told the abuses happened to them in human rights office & in court. In the mean while those three persons were arrested. But they were very powerful people with lots of connections. Many powerful persons supported them & they declined their crimes as well.

Watch the full film to know what happened in the court, whether these poor children got justice or not ,connection of Gim Yeon's brother's death to this case and what happened to these abusers at the end.This film is pretty dark and it portrays the life of some orphan children & differently abled children who were abused by the adults. This film also brings a major change in the laws of Korea as well. This film played a major part in changing the life orphan children in Korea. Government took many steps to protect them after the awareness created by this film. In that fact this film is a masterpiece & also a memorable film which brought a major change in Korea.

Moreover all the actors has given their best performance in the film. More over the climax and the ending of the film is very unique and you will definitely feel something in your heart after watching this film. Background score in the climax is awesome. The way how the abuses were portrayed in the film showed the horror faced by those children in their life in a lively manner. That flower vase scene in the movie is mind bending and it's the main turning plot in the story of the movie.

Moreover this film is actually based on true events and the director has given a request to audience in the ending of the film . That's something notable in the film. Court trial scenes & the way those children describing the horrifying incident they faced to Kang In ho and others are well shown in the movie . Moreover the way how Kang In ho & Seo Yoo jin took care of Min Su , Jin Yu and Gim Yeon Do is really heart warming. Moreover how those three children showed their affection to Kang In ho & Seo Yoo jin is also enjoyable. This movie is like a real life in a screen.
