Raya and the Last Dragon is a Disney's animation movie about a girl who's on a quest to save her land from the sinister monsters known as Druun. This movie is definitely a big family entertainer of 2021. As usual Disney produced another enjoyable and beautiful movie with an awesome storyline. 


Longtime ago dragons and human lived together in a land named Kumandra. Then a mystical creatures named Druun attacked their land and the living beings who came to contact with those creatures turned into stones. Lots of human and dragons were changed into stones. Finally Dragon named Sisu used a dragon stone created by his siblings and it defeated the Drunn. All the humans who turned into stones came to their normal life. Unfortunately dragons remained same. Sisu also lost and they believed it's sleeping in a river end.

The only thing left of the dragon's magic was the dragon stone. People started to fight for it. They were divided into five kingdoms. Heart kingdom holded the dragon stone and they became as protectors of it. After 500 years Heart kingdom's Cheif ( Raya's father) tried to establish peace among five kingdoms. He organized a feast to bring out the peace. Unfortunately during the feast some of them tried to steal the dragon stone and all the people started to fight for it. In the end they broke the dragon stone and it became into five pieces. Moreover the Druun trapped in a prison by dragon stone's magic also released into the world.


The leaders from the five kingdoms took a piece for each self because the broken pieces still has some magic in it and it can chase the Drunn creatures who are trying to come close to the holder of the stone. Druun creatures started to attack people. In that attack Raya was the only one who survived in Heart kingdom. She started a journey to find the dragon sleeping in the river end and after five years she finally found it with her friend Tuk Tuk. She gave the piece she had to Sisu and it gave some portions of dragon's power back to Sisu. During that time most of the people in the Kamanda were turned into stones. Raya, Tuk Tuk & Sisu started a quest to collect remaining pieces of Dragon Stone inorder to defeat Druun again.

Watch the full movie to know whether Raya and her friends were successful in their mission or not , what are the obstacles they faced during the quest , who are the new friends Raya made during the quest , whether Kumanda returned to normal or not , what happened to the dragons that turned into stones and what's the ending of the movie. This movie is very interesting and 100% enjoyable. Action scenes in the movie are awesome. Raya vs Namaari duel fight scenes are mind bending. Moreover chase scene of little Noi and her companion is enjoyable. 


Sisu's characterization is very good. It's funny and in many occasions you will definitely enjoy how Sisu behaves in the movie. Sisu's intro scene is very funny and you will definitely enjoy this. Rather than these Sisu has many funny moments that will bring you laughter. Conversation between Tong and Sisu , Raya ; when Tong captured them is very interesting. Moreover characters such as Tong , Tuk Tuk , Boun also make this movie into an entertaining movie. Comedy is the plus point of this movie. This movie has beautiful CGI moments as well. They have shown a beautiful and horrifying apocalyptic world through this movie. 


The climax scene is emotional and it is similar to the climax of Guardians of Galaxy vol 01. End credits song and background scores used in the movie are good. In a nutshell this movie doesn't have any single boaring moment. From the beginning to end the movie will definitely keep you occupied. If you are looking for a perfect movie to enjoy with your family then you should definitely watch this movie .


Now we are going to Analysis about what are the kingdoms,  dragons , leaders & holders of pieces in the movie. Spoilers ahead 

Five Kingdoms of the movie 

01. Heart

It's the kingdom where dragon stone was kept and protected for 500 years . Main character Raya is also from this kingdom. 


02. Talon

It's the kingdom of merchants. The little Noi and her companions are the residents of this kingdom 


03. Tail

It's a kingdom of sand. The people in this kingdom are fiercely fight with their weapons. Raya found Sisu in this land after 5 years of search. Moreover Balon is also from this kingdom. 


04. Spine

It's the kingdom of Bamboo forests and the warriors in this kingdom fight very well using axes. Tong is from this kingdom. 


05. Fang

It's the kingdom of deadly assassins. They also have wild cats to fight and to protect their kingdom. They are the main reasons for the release of Drunn after 500 years. Namaari is from this kingdom. 

05 Last Dragons standed against Druun


Before 500 years after the massive destruction only five last standing dragons left to restore the world into normal one again. They created a dragon stone using their power and finally they defeated the Drunn.

01. Sisu

Sisu is the last one that completed task of combining dragon stone and saved people from Drunn. After 500 years Raya waked it from sleep and once again it tried to save the world. Speciality of Sisu is swimming fast. Sisu is called as Water Dragon .

02. Amba

Amba is the sister of Sisu. Her power is glow. She's a blue dragon and her body glows beautifully during night and day. Specially at night she's very beautiful. 

03. Pranee

Pranee is the sister of Sisu. Her power is shape shifting. She can turn into human beings as well. She's purple in colour. 

04. Jagan

Jan is the brother of Sisu. His power is fog. He can create massive amount of fog around him and he can easily defeat his enemies in  the fog. He's light purple in colour. 

05. Pengu

Pengu is the brother of Sisu. He's the eldest one of all dragons . He brings rain to all the lands  and he helps in the nourishment of all the plants and living beings . He is green in colour.

Before 500 years five dragons took last  stand against Druun. But Now five people with the  pieces of  dragon stone and their friends stand against Druun.

01. Raya , Tuk Tuk and Susi

Raya and Tuk Tuk found the missing Susi and started the quest to save the world. These three became as a perfect team and friends in the quest. Susi was shot by the arrow and fell into the ocean and Tuk Tuk was busy in saving the people of Fang . So among these three Raya holded the dragon stone piece at the end.

02. Tong

Tong is a warrior from the kingdom of Spine. He captured Raya and Sisu when they entered his kingdom to collect dragon stone. His entire village turned into stones including his family . So he joined Raya's team to defeat Druun. He also holded the piece of dragon stone in climax. 

03. Namaari

Naamari is from Fang kingdom. She's the one who tried to stole dragon stone in kingdom Heart and she became the reason for the release of Druun again in the world. She also tried to fix her mistake. However she and Raya often fight duel as sworn enemies during the quest. Naamari wanted to defeat Raya and collect the stones herself . After many fights she also trusted Raya at Climax and she also holded a piece of dragon stone. 

04. Little Noi and her companions 

Little Noi and her companions are the theives from the Kingdom Tang. They stole the stones from Raya in Tang. Tuk Tuk and Raya caught them by chasing them. They learned that little Noi also lost her family to Druun. So Raya also asked the help of them in her quest and they followed Raya to save the world. Among these Little Noi holded the piece of dragon stone in climax and her companions also stood with her.

05. Boun

Boun is a boy from kingdom of Tail. He met Raya when Namaari and her assassins chasing her to get dragon stone from her. Raya gave him some Jades and escaped in his ship. Later he also joined Raya's quest because he lost his family to Drunn as well. He also holded a piece of dragon stone in climax.
