Army of Dead is a zombie apocalypse heist film directed by Zack Synder who's famous for his previous zombie flick " Dawn of Dead " which is still considered as one of the greatest zombie film of all time. This movie is definitely an awesome & mind bending movie to horror movie fans. Synder made a great effort in this movie.

In this movie a group of people who got into the Las vegas inorder to heist money from a vault in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. This movie is totally different from ordinary zombie movies. This movie featuring a god damn zombie tiger , zombie horse , robot zombies which is considered as an experiment of Government etc. Moreover highly intelligent & the enhanced ability zombies are the best thing in this film. Specially Zeus is the biggest threat for the group in their heist. 

Rather than these their time is limited to finish their job because government is going to bomb the city to prevent the spread of infection. At tthe very end many fan favourite characters met their tragic fate and only one or two characters survived. Moreover the ending of the movie is also a cliff hanger ending. However this movie is full of so many mysteries. Origin of alpha is unknown and it's shown as zombie apocalypse in Las Vegas started due to the escape of Alpha Zombie Zeus while transporting it by soldiers. Moreover what the heck is those zombie robots & how the hell alpha & queen able to control the army. Moreover the alpha queen is pregnant. It's shown that it may be the child of Zeus the alpha male. The most interesting fact is there are two ships that jumped in the light speed also shown in the movie. There's a possible alien activity also involved in the movie. 

There's a doubt  if animals like tiger & horse can be turned into zombies , then why didn't the birds in that area is not affected by it. You may say it's impossible to catch birds. But you know alpha zombies are intelligent. So they definitely can catch them & it's obvious that if they have bird zombie in their army of dead then it will be an additional strength for them.

Apart from all these the infinite time loop theory becomes as a discussion material in many social media. Let's see about this infinite time loop theory in this article. It's just a fan based theory.

During the heist Vanderohe said to Dieter after seeing a group of dead soldiers 

" Is it another team , or is it us Dieter? Huh? Think about it us. Look at them it us. It could be us in another timeline and we're caught in an infinite loop of fighting and dying. "

Oh my god! the thing is actually this statement may be a correct thing. But it's implied as comedy in the movie. But there's a possibility that this theory may be correct. 

Red scarf of Scott Ward is matched with a scarf in the corpse. Moreover the name tag & a key in the neck of Maria Cruz also matched with another corpse. Rather than these the chain of the pilot Tig Natoro also matched with the corpse. These three things prove that this above theory may be right.

There's one more thing Maria proposed Scottt during the heist and they smiled each other in the current events. Look at the skeleton of soldier. These two skeletons lean on each other which are considered as skeletons of Scott & Maria from another timeline. 

Moreover the thing is Vanderohe & above three members known each other before the heist. They are close to each other than these other members. There's an other skeleton near the door as well. It  is  similar to Vanderohe. But we can't throughly confirm it. But there's an interesting theory that if that skeleton is not the one of Vanderohe. As you know Vanderohe survived at the end. May  the Vanderohe from alternative time line may also survived and he may  be  captured by government and Zeus may be created by experimenting hin . That private aeroplane scene may be a start of an infinite loop in another timeline. 

But we can say this theory is not true. Because they bombed the city in the end. So if they caught in an infinite time loop there's no possibility for their skeletons & the city to be same  after the explosion. But there's a possibility some skeletons traveled back in time due to the explosion. May be Vanderohe also traveled back in time and started this apocalypse in the current timeline . Don't ask how can some skeletons travel back . This movie is already full of mystery. So this may be a possibility as well.

Moreover you may wonder if they caught in an infinite time loop why only a set of skeletons remains there. For examples in movies like " In the tall grass " , " Triangle " protagonists find a pile of their dead body in the same place because they caught in a never ending loop. So you may ask why there's no any other set of skeletons . Here's the answer to that question as well.

In a Korean series " Sisyphus: The Myth " the same time loop repeated again and again. But in every loop they got closer to the victory. It's said that one day future version of them who's going to be caught in this never ending time loop will taste the victory even if they die continuously. May be this is the situation here. In the last loop this team came closer to the victory and they died because there failed to open the door. But this time they succeeded. 

From the above point of view we can say there's a possibility for never ending time loop in this movie and in next loop may be the team will successfully escape in their heist. However we also can say that there's no time loop and bullshit in this movie. It's just a regular zombie movie with a cliff hanger ending.
