Snakes and Ladder is an Indonesian horror film about a group of students who went to a mountain for hiking. The movie starts with Fina woke from a terrifying dream about her friends. She felt bad about the upcoming trip to mountain and she warned them. But they ignored her. She and her five friends went to mountain for hiking. They met their guide Gina there. She accompanied them to the start point and said some rules to follow in their journey. She also instructed them not to go to the certain path because it's dangerous. She said she will meet them in the starting point after 2 days.

She went to home. Fina and friends ignored her warning and they went on the path which she said it's dangerous. Then they found an old house and they stayed in that house for night. They felt a supernatural presence in the house. During night Fina wake and she saw 2 ghosts of 2 dead girls. She followed them. After few minutes her friend Martha woke and she was shocked when she saw Fina was missing. Then she woke up the other students and they together searched for Fina.

2 ghosts led Fina to an old big tree and they showed something in the ground and they disappeared. Then her friends found Fina and she told about the incidents she faced. After that Bogas dug that place and found a board of snakes and ladder. He also heard some strange voices from board.They took the board and returned to the old house. They arranged the board. Lani rolled the dice in the board. Suddenly she disappeared. They were shocked. William , Martha and Bogas went out to search her.While Bogas, Martha and William went out , Dodoy heard some strange voices from board and she also rolled the dice and she also disappeared. 

Then William , Martha and Bogas returned and they found out Dodoy also missing. They were freaked out and they tried to got away from the forest. But they went in circles and they returned to old house again. They camped outside of the house and they planned to figure out what they are going to do in morning. In night Bogas also heard some strange voices and he arranged the board & rolled the dice. He also disappeared. At the same time Gina felt some supernatural presence in her home. So she decided go into the forest to find these students. At the same time Fina , Martha and William decided to find the mystery behind this Snakes and Ladder game.

This horror movie is very interesting and it's full of many scary moments. Actors also gave good performance as well. The movie contains many interesting moments. Fina entering other releam, final snakes and ladder interpretation in climax, rolling dice scnes are some of the examples for these moments. The story about Jin and how it tempting humans to do bad things because it can't kill human in our physical releam is one of the fantastic concept used in the movie. However the movie should have included more horror scenes. However the movie is enjoyable. If you are looking for a good & interesting horror movie then you should definitely watch " Snakes and Ladder " movie.
