Gran Turismo: A Dare to Dream the Impossible
Gran Turismo is an action , biography adventure film directed by Neil Blomberk. This film is about an virtual stimulation " Gran Turismo" gamer who later became as one of the famous car racer. Film begins with a the introduction of the stimulation game "Gran Turismo " which was invented by Takehiro Hira to provide a similar experience like racing in a car track with a well designed stimulation.
Film conveyed the fact how this stimulation gane was carefully designed inorder to provide a best experience to the gamers. Notable fact is how this game was carefully designed. Stimulation of racing, physics related to car , engineering aspects and customerization of fine details of car were shown in this film. In a nutshell this is a film about a boy named Jann Mardenboronwho is an elite gamer got a chance to get into the Nishan academy which was initiated by Danny Moore to prove that the Grand Turismo gamers can become a real car driver.
He and another 9 of the gamers were trained by Jack Salter a former racer and an experienced car engineer to face the challenges related to the real world racing. Finally a racing competition between 10 Gran Turismo players decide the player who's going to compete with the elite racers in the world to prove the interesting proposal by the Danny Moore . In this article I am going to tell the things I like about this film. Before that let me tell you my comments about this film.
Simply this film is a most insane and heart felt movie I watched recently: Gran Turismo ✨️ Dare to dream the impossible. Story and cinematography is lit and the most important thing is how the story was delivered in a emotional manner.Dream , Love, Support , Fear , Protective behaviour, Panic and hundreds of emotions were portrayed well in the screen. Only negative thing I felt about this film may be they should have given more screen time to the final race. Still the final race moments also mind bending and delivered properly.
Let's come to the main purpose of this article. The five best things I like or the things that made me felt something good about this film are
1. Jann's dream
The way how Jann's dream portrayed in the movie is remarkable. He decided to be a racer from the childhood and he yearned for the opportunity. Moreover he believed in himself and showed a great passion towards it. Even from the virtual stimulation he gained vast and unbelievable amount of knowledge. The scene about the wrong in the break portrayed this. Moreover the way how he compared the track and the path to do successfully turn using the experience from the virtual stimulation also portraying this idea. Rather than that the way how he used the rare opportunity he got and shaped his path also remarkable. Other than that after the accident the way how he overcome it is shown well in the film. Role of Jack Salter specifically in this instance made us yearns for a mentor like him in our life.
" Most of the people will walk away. But you are not the most of the people "
-Jack Salter -
2. Confrontation between Jann and his dad before the 24 hours race
This is one of the heartfelt moments in the movie. His father was a strict person and he often told Jann to do something productive " Go to College, improve your physical fitness, get out from the room and see outside world" There's no doubts that his advices are the reality of this world. He never believed Jann is going to be racer. When he got selected into the academy he feared Jann is gonna get hurt. In the accident scene you should have seen his reaction. This reaction is well expressed by the actor Dijimon Honso. At the end he met his son before the race. That conversation between him and his son will make you shead tears. He was sad because he didn't properly supported Jann when he said he want to become racer. He also said he was afraid Jann will get hurt and he expressed his care and the sorry for not being helpful in an emotional manner. That scene was definitely one of my favourite.
3. Dare to dream the Impossible
This movie is about Jann and his journey. But the one who dreamed the impossible and strongly believed that Gran Turismo player can be at podium is definitely Danny Moore. He proposed the most abstract idea to the world. He even took all the necessary steps to achieve it even though everyone around him discouraged him. Even though he had some minor negative shades he supported Jann until the very end. He is the one who dreamed the impossible and he made surw Jann did that. He break the cycle of the usual world and he opened a new path way.
4. Interactions between Jann and Jack Salter
There's no doubt these two characters are the heart of this movie. David Habbour is definitely a goat to give this incredible performance as a mentor. He lived as that character thoroughout the film. Every interactions between them is shown well in the movie. Particularly that gift scene and the Salter helping Jann to overcome the anxiety in the racing track by playing the music are my personal favourites. Other than these two scenes Salter's dialogues are more impactful in this film.
5. The message from the film
Finally this movie portrays a strong message to us.
Dream impossible
Grab the chance
Don't get diagraced from the opinions of others
Restart if you failed. But never quit
In a simple words film strongly encouraged us
" Dare to Dream an Impossible "
These are the best five things I like about this film. Personally I enjoyed this film very much and my advice if you need a little bit inspiration and motivation in your life. Definitely try this film. It will be 2 hours of worthy journey to you.
